Through it all

All we've experienced these last 3 months, these last 2 years...
all the prayers that have been answered,
the prayers that God responded with a "Yes, but not now" answer,
the heating pads,
the ultrasounds,
herbal teas, oils and all at home remedies,
days filled with pain,
and more filled with laughter,
the miracles,
the doctor's appointments,
the fears,
the surgeries,
the hopes renewed,
waiting for test results,
the time in prayer that ended with snot filled face,
and runny mascara on his shoulder,
the possibility of the "C" word,
medical diagnoses no one would desire,
the words of encouragement,
after times of complete brokenness.
The baby dress purchased by faith,
the list of names prayed for,
times on our knees,
time in The Word,
declaring God's promises over our lives & my womb,
times of weakness, he was strong,
the times we laid in bed full of unanswered questions,
yet filled with so much peace.
The fear of the unknown, the different scenarios,
all the pathology reports,
the times of happy tears,
God's promises we've held onto,
the times we showed up, even when we felt pain.
when the physical pain was so strong I couldn't walk.

In our short 3 years of marriage we've seen God's hand guide us through it all.
"In sickness and in health" we made this promise.
We agreed as a couple that we will share about our miracles so the world will see God's power.

Through this next journey we find ourselves on,
we will share of God's goodness and praise through it all and claim our blessings by faith.
The desires of our heart, God sees, through it all he is good, he is our healer and our Miracle maker.

Through it all we keep our hearts aimed on God's promises.
